Umbria is the region of St. Francis of Assisi. This famous Saint is also one of the pivots of our tours, which are often based in Assisi. The Baslica of Saint Francis, the Carceri Hermitage, the church of St Damiano and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli are some of the destinations linked to the life of this saint.

Other destinations in this region include Perugia, an example of medieval citadel, marvelous in its maintained architecture. It hosts the National Gallery of Umbria, where numerous masterpiecesd of artist born in this region are exposed, and some other unique places, like the Nobile Collegio del Cambio, a Medieval “bank” completely decorated with frescoes from the artist Perugino, and the Etruscan Well.
